My veild chameleon Stewie has what appears to be a dry pale almost white line of skin right along the top of his body. Does anyone have any ideas on why this could be? The only thing I can think is that he is too close to his basking bulb however the temperature is spot on in that area and he is posistioned about 10inches away from the bulb itself when he is basking underneath it. It still remains a pale white colour even when he shows his darker colours and is still there after he has shed too. Any help or advice will be much appreciated. The
