White film on one side of mouth

I just got my chameleon a week and a half ago. It’s a baby panther and he has some weird film on the left side of its mouth and one clogged nostril. What does this mean? Is he sick?

Sounds like he is about to shed. Just leave the skin alone--you can do damage to the new skin if you pull off the shedding skin.

The film goes away sometimes but if he drinks water it appears for a few hours

does he open his mouth alot as well? When Argo started opening his mouth I could see the siliva better and it was bubbly. Vet visit later and found out that it was an upper repitory infection. I just that it was normal until the vet told me it wasn't because he did it when I first got him. sometimes it over fills outside of the mouth by the corners.

maybe call and get a vet app. sooner rather than later? you don't want to mess around with an uri

Every so often he does and it makes a really soft but noticeable sound.

I took little dexter to the vet today and they gave me baytril for him:) he wouldn’t accept a cricket so they told me I could give it to him directly. He took it well.

I gave him the dose the vet recommended and he’s definitely better but there is still the slightest bit of mucus... should I call the vet or wait?
