I got my veiled chameleon from reptile shop like 2 days ago. I'm not sure how old she is, but she's pretty tiny. Yesterday when i got her and put in her cage she seemed fine and she was chilling under the heat lamp. This morning when i turned her lights back on she was the same way, but my brother was trying so show her to his friends so idk if that spooked her and she's been in a spot under the leaves ever since. Is this normal? I put some mealworms in her feeding thing, but will she come out and eat ?? I'm just tryna make sure she alright

Welcome to the forum. Can you post pictures of the chameleon and the entire enclosure from the lighting down?

Chameleons really are not reptiles you hold. They can get stressed very easily. I would not recommend letting people hold her at all. They have pretty specific enclosure and husbandry requirements as well.

Neptune the Chameleon youtube videos and chameleon academy at this link are good resources when you are new to chameleons. https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-husbandry-program-getting-started-with-chameleons/
