Why is there no super worms in Hawaii

Aloha everyone,

I was looking into breeding super worms for my 2 Jackson's but I have stumbled upon that no one ships out here for those feeders. Is it because its illegal or is it because they will die by the time they get here from the mainland?

They are a species that would LOVE Hawaii's temperature, they originate in Africa. Hawaii is quite restrictive.

Better question is how you have a pet reptile in Hawaii in first place. I assume you just walked outside and picked up 2 jacksons from the road.
