Why's he sitting like a dog?

So I went home for lunch today and checked in on our "lil sh*ts" as we lovingly call them and noticed Tillman sitting like a dog on his haunches under the basking light. Is this normal? I know we've been having a helluva time trying to get the temperature just right. Was in the low-mid 80s, and one place told us to use a 100W bulb. Well that put him at over 102°s! So we went to a 75W basking bulb. It was in the high 90s. We just recently put him with a 50W basking bub which has kept the temp around 86°-ish.

So yeah. I'm just wondering if this is a normal thing to see once in a while. I mean, he looks cute but...i don't think he's supposed to sit like that. This IS our first chameleon however so I could be wrong.

Chameleons can do the strangest things! Unless he starts sitting like this all the time it's likely nothing.
