Wild insects...

Fireflies are toxic. I don't know about June bugs.
I prefer not to use them since where I live I can't depend on them not being in areas that were sprayed with insecticides.

Do not feed fireflies to your cham! They are very poisonous. My stepson nearly killed our bearded dragon from one fireflie. The biggest concern for any wild caught bugs is pesticides, and a secondary concern is parasites. Do more research like using the search feature on the forum before feeding anything you might find questionable just in case. There have been some good discussions in previous threads on what is safe and not safe for wild caught bugs.

I have read some about insecticides and such but just wanted a solid answer. I figured fireflies would be toxic and again just wanted a solid answer. I will search some more.
