Will dubia roaches be active in a terrarium?

Wanted to add soil and bugs to my outdoor cage this year. Are dubia roaches just going to be hiding like usual or since it's their "home" will they be active?

They'll be active at night and will hide during the day for the most part.

Be careful. No one will appreciate your exotic roaches escaping an outside cage if you don't live at a latitude with a cool enough climate to prevent them from breeding!
