Woo! Baby Roaches!

My friend came to visit Monty on Sunday and she brought a dozen adult Dubia with her for me. There were about 3 males and the rest female. Well, this morning I checked on them as they gross me out yet still fascinate me, and a female had given birth under the quartered orange I put in there! Shame that Monty won't eat them yet and Amy isn't interested because they aren't big enough to warrant her even looking at them, lol!

It's a nice surprise finding some in the enclosure! ;D I know when I first found nypmh's I was like "SUCCESS!" haha. I am going to get another bin setup to put the adults and just have them mate and drop the babies and take out the adults. It might be easier to get them out when attempting to feed them to my spoiled critters.

Lol, Hoj! You will be in so much trouble when she finds out that your Madagascar Beetles are actually cockroaches! LMAO!! Why do they have to make so much noise when they scurry about?! Ugh!

ya they are noisy, wait till you have abunch of em when i open my container the egg crates move around from so many underneath all moving at once. i even put my hand on the egg carton and they were pretty strong ( lifting it up )
ya i hope she dosent get wise on me... ill be trouble

Tiff i am sure I have at least 1500 to 2000 if you want more. That many really makes noise. But they are Lenny's all time fav food.

He took it out of his mouth with his hand? That's hilarious! Amy will eat them but the adults are too big for her, Tommy only ever looked at them suspiciously with one eye, like he did with edible things!
