OMG I've only just done a little bit of research and even I know that's not how to keep a chameleon. Poor little thing....:(

I just looked at that persons profile and i also found this pic of a baby in a better cage. The pic you posted is very sad but in the pic i posted if its the same chameleon its in a better cage now. For whatever reason the chameleon was in that cage its still wrong.

wow tragic! i don't understand why people don't research before getting delicate animals like chameleons. we went through tons of websites before getting one, unfortunately we found this forum only later in the process and there are many controverting facts out there, so we made some mistakes as well in the beginning (substrate on the bottom) but that was quickly corrected. we got the main components right and keep improving and expanding our enclosure and free range because our guy deserves the best. i just find it sad what people do to their animals because they dont care enough to get information first. clearly that little guy in the first picture looked unhealthy.

Perhaps they were doing a "what not to do and how to fix it" thread on another forum or something.

Either way you shouldn't be posting pictures that aren't yours without permission.
Do not post full articles or hotlinked images on this website without permission from the content owner.

photo bucket is like a p2p system people post pics online knowing that other people have access to their pics so they do so knowing the risks involved if he wants it down he should take it down photo bucket I gave him credit to his work I did nothing wrong in that sense.

So in other words, the second you upload anything (even something that is not yours to begin with) it becomes free game? I'd love to see how you came up with this.

I know you gave credit to this person, but I do believe photobucket has links to where you can actually see the picture on the person's album.

On the same note...I chewed the ass of the local Petsmart manager the other day. They have a Veiled 4/5 months old for 99$! He is in a 6x6x8 glass front, plastic sides with no holes, and a plastic top with a few holes...Inside was a water bowl, nasty substrate, a couple of vines, and a thermometer......the temp read 100 degrees. The Cham looked ok for the conditions he was in.....after my ass chewing, they started making changes immediately. I dont know what the final product was, but I told her if she/Petsmart couldnt take care of it, then she needs to give it up to me or someone who can!

If you can prove me otherwise about photo bucket because if you post pics on their for people to see your posting pics for everyone to see. The net is like a big p2p server its used to rely and share information thats what the net is a information database where people share information. If he posts his pics in the public then I can use them trust its valid. If paparazzi steal pics then, I surely can use a pic posted on the net that was posted there, by the user knowing others can use it. For example do you know the pics posted on myspace can be used in a divorce court case simply because one parent made their account public if that can be done then surey what I did can.

I get pretty damn pissed off when people use my intellectual property without my authorization.

This thread should explain a lot of things: https://www.chameleonforums.com/photo-copyrights-protect-your-images-47026/

I'll be closing this thread now.
