Wow what a difference

what an amazing difference good lighting can make. The top picture is one of my cages with the light setup recommended by a local pet shop-not a chain store, but a small locally owned one. The employees there have reptiles, and told me exactly what to get. The middle picture is my second cage, lit based on the recommendations and purchases from Todd at Light Your Reptiles. Both are taken at the same time with the same lighting in the room, as shown in the third picture where they are side by side. I wish I had found this forum a little earlier!

Yep! I couldn't believe the night and day (see what I did there?) difference when I switched to LYR fixtures. With every penny for the amazing light quality.

I got lights from Todd and man what a difference in the encloser and the chameleon. He knows his stuff, hands down

here is a picture with both cages outfitted with their new lights. It was the girls' bedtime last night so I couldn't do it at the same lighting as the previous pictures.

Totally agree. I was working with one of these dual dome setups and got new lighting, once I upgraded, just the quality of light for viewing purposes was astronomical. My guy was also showing more vivid colors, became more active, and his appetite increased. Todd's the truth in the reptile lighting game.
