Amy is doing fine, thank you! She's around 5 months old now.
It is possible that Kermy is becoming receptive, or she might just be showing her adult colouring. Lily always had blues and browns showing, but the blue was always brighter when she was receptive. Do you have a photo of her that you could post?
Definitely sounds receptive based on colors and age. I have had several females lay an infertile clutch after their first receptive color showing, but I don't mate them until after 12 months of age. Your girl is becomming a woman.
I also have one female who flashes those same colors (for a short time) when she gets a bite of one of her favorite feeders!
hmmm what does reeceptive mean... and is a yemen cham. the same as a veiled? i googled it and saw one it looks like a veiled...:/ anyhow do males show their "receptive colors" ?
hey KrewElement receptive means that a female is ready to be mated by a male, and a Yemen is the same as a Veiled, AND a males receptive colors are similar to his passive colors (greens, blues, yellows, etc.)
