yet another dubia question

I have around 50 adults, and 50 mixed nymphs. The majority of the adults are female. At least 75% of them. I keep a butter dish lid filled with water crystals, another small lid with dry chow from a recipe that I got on here, and put out greens, bananas, grapes, carrots...etc every other day. I can see they are eating the food. I have them in a 30 gallon plastic tub with vent holes cut in the top and have it ontop of a heat source that keeps the very bottom of the tub around 90 to 97 F. I have had the 50 adults for a little over 2 weeks now. When should I start to see some really tiny babies in there? I tried to find some yesterday but dont see any evidence of babies. Only 2 adults have died since I got the roaches. The rest look fine as far as I can tell. Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I think it matter if the females were pregnant when you got them. For me about like in 4 days after i got them i opened there tub and there were many little white one running around, one day later they were just the same color as the other ones and blended in.

Wow

Wow - a hundred roaches huh? Your wife must Love you an awful lot!!!
Guess what? She does!
Happy Anniversary!

I think the babies from Ziggy and Rainbow are going to be awesome looking. Can't wait to see you being the daddy of so many babies.

((BTW - On the Dubias - The website we got them from said it takes about 30 days for them to breed.)) LOL

It might take up to a month if they were not pregnant before you got them. Longer if you keep them at cooler temps.

Hi Pssh. What is the optimum temp to keep them at? I thought 90 - 95 would kick them into breeding mode.
