I found a mellers listed in a local classified! Just started communication with the seller. It's located about an hour and a half drive from here but I'm gonna check it out later today or on friday! It sure would be cool to get Zipo (my melleri) some company! Dont know the history of this cham but I sure am exited! Like a kid on christmas eve! I guess this mellers name is Plinko. They are kinda hard to come by around here. Wish me luck!

Hope it works out for you. I've been looking around for mellers for awhile too. Only one I found was on an old website for a now shut down pet store in town, and I have had no luck finding out if it was sold or not.

Yippee!!!

It worked out!! they are devlivering Plinko this afternoon!! Now I'm REALLY going crazy.. cant wait. Here is a photo they sent me.

All right! Bought a second melleri! It's being delivered this afternoon! Apparentley Plinko, it's name, is a long term pet the previous owners have had about a year! It's currently housed in a large flexarium, actualy 2 100 gallon ones put together. Now i just need to make some room! I guess after an acclimation period I'll introduce it to Zipo, my other melleri, If they get along I'll build them a free range in my second bedroom. I have read the Melleri Discovery site hundreds of times but any input on introducing them or free ranging would be appretiated. Thanks in advance! (yes, I'll post pictures this evening!) Yippee!!!

Congrats! He looks very cool

I considered getting a Mellers after my Archie died because I had a nice big 260 gallon terrarium, but gave up that idea because I thought they were pretty hard to get in Canada.
(P.S. did you notice everyone on this thread is Albertan?! weird!)

Wow!!

I just recived Plinko! Unbelivable! It dwarfs Zipo, at least 2X its size! Freakin HUGE!! Easily as long as my hand and forearm! Plinko is a testament to the resiliant nature of these creatures! It arived with a really bad enclosure... 2 reptariums cobbled together, a couple of sticks and a few skimpy fake plants. Worst of all it never had any UV! Just a basking light! No drip - only hand misted. Despite all this it is in amazing shape! I've put it in a large ficus, set up a drip and basking light. Now im off to purchase all the supplies needed! I thought i would use the reptariums as temp housing but seeing it reminded me of why i think they suck! There goes my savings acount (again)!! Anyway... any input on introducing my TWO mellers or free ranging them would be much appretiated! Thanks
