rofl! i can relate. i get so jelous and envy my animals when they eat and i dont. that i am soo lazy to make myself food sometimes, but feeding crickets a delicious well prepared salad is a nessesity. lol! this is ubsured!

you know you've gone chameleon crazy when. you buy supplies, food, and more chameleons, rather then buying yourself nessesities (clothes, medicine and prosponing your bills) lol.
when you dont go to church on sunday morning because you were up on the threads and the sponsors sights till 3am the night before (i gotta realy stop doing this) lol
when you rack up 50$ in long distance fees trying to search for a certain species. lol
it doesnt stop with the food, but continues on. my life has became rediculous in the last 5 months lol

My chams come first, lol! My kids (and hubby!) are old enough to fend for themselves though! My chameleons ARE my kids too!You know you're chameleon mad when - you have more pics of your chams than your kids on Facebook! Also guilty of this one, lol!

O.k. Let me clarify this. WE are not crazy, it is everyone else that doesn't get it!!!
You are crazy when people ask for pics of your kids and you whip out your chams!!
When you are telling "cute" stories of your chams at work.
When you are yelling at your kids and husband for turning on too many lights cuz the chams (and dragon) are sleeping!!

When a neighbor reports your free range room to the sheriff because they think you are growing marijuana.
When the UPS man asks you to take your "live insects" deliveries out of the truck instead of bringing them up to the door.

No, really. I am waiting for that visit!!!! You can see into the lower level of our house from the sidewalk. I keep the blinds mostly closed, which feeds the suspicion!! All you can really see are the suspended lights

Well, it really happened to me. The sheriff drove up one day when I was getting home from work, was very pleasant but was obviously fishing around wondering about the "brightly lit room full of plants" some snoopy neighbor saw.
I gave him a tour (partly because it was so funny, I couldn't wait to dispell the rumor, and because I always liked to talk about the melleri). He was a totally nice guy but he did give me a funny look as I blathered on about lizards.

When every large tree in the shopping mall needs to be visualized with several Chams in them before you turn your gaze to the stupid stores you are supposed to be there for....
