A couple days ago I started to compile some links that come from questions that are asked often.. so far I don't have nearly enough to be of any use.. and I was wondering if anyone could help me add on to this.

This is what I have so far:

Why is my chameleon buzzing/humming/vibrating?
It's how they "communicate". (Please correct me on this if it isn't correct, I can't think of it off the top of my head)

C'mon, I know lots of you have a lot of links you just love! Share them here, but try to keep them to a 3 link minimum, I've noticed when you post too many links often people will only read half of the first link you send because they are a little intimidated by the amount of reading they have to do. There could be an "optional reading" tidbit after the necessary links, though.

Perhaps it could be something Brad adds on to in the future for a FAQ set, but if not I would like to use it for future reference for myself, and easy access bookmarks so I can post them in threads instead of having to jump through 2,000 threads trying to find the one I forgot to bookmark. :eek:

Sabrina, the links you posted for 'buzzing' and 'chitin' are both linked to the chitin info. It would be a good idea to have all the useful/most used links in one place!

Great thread, as a new member and new to chameleons having something like this sticky would be great. I know myself and there are others actually check for stickys first.

Great idea and good effort, Syn.

There are less expensive, more effective products for gnats such as Gnatrol.
Nematodes are relatively fragile compared with the bacteria (Bt) in the above product.

Also, has anyone checked to see if the nematode sold as a dipteran parasite has been found to attack higher animals?

I found a reference to this, but I can not access the article: can someone with access please see if this is relevant

Thanks DGray, I will add that as another option once I get back on my computer at home. :)
 
Speaking of vets, what if members had a place to post their vet info and rate their experience. This way, other members in that area could refer to it. I've seen many post about 'bad' vet experiences and hardly any good ones.
