Taking him to the vet on Wednesday. Just want come feed back on his stool.

What does bright yellow poop mean? My neighbor got a chameleon dumped on them from a co-worker who is in the process of moving and I thinks the dude is illiterate bc the first Google search about veiled chams showed that everything about the enclosure was wrong and she looked awful.

Fresh poop!whats that yellow on urates?

Hello, I have a female panther chameleon that had a clutch of eggs about three months ago. She is gravid again and I do have a bin in her enclosure for her to lay in. Has anyone ever seen this before? Looks like she has eggs when she poops.

hello!!
3 year old female Jackson new owner here. 3 weeks with our dear Gladys and she finally ate a hornworm today. So apparently She has two worms according to the vet: pinworms and round worms. Her Poop has changed drastically. See the transition. What would cause poop get to this color tho. It looks normal through the grayish cementish poop but it is as rank and super gross! She’s on antibiotics and a dewormer. Any help would be appreciated ❤️

So that looks like quite an infestation. The gray smelly stuff is dead worms. It is the medication working. I have not seen it in chams, but I have seen it in other animals being dewormed. It is a good sign.

Also, do you mind if I use some of these on my sight. They are great pics to show the problem and cure.

Absolutely! Feel free I have a video as well if you need it. Thank you so much! I feel so much better!! I have looked everywhere for parasitic feces to compare and educate myself. No luck On that, so I am happy to assist in any form of education on the topic. I know I’m not the only one!

FWIW, I can see live worms in the 4th attachment: B692A631-349C-4FB9-8F27-C835F27D2E70.jpeg

When I've seen other animals being dewormed (dogs & cats), all I usually see are clumps of intact dying or dead worms.

Could the gray stuff also be (at least partly) the metabolized meds?

@Kmotley425 Wow! fantastic photo of worms being expelled after a deworming. Usually they are digested and you don't see that.
It also looks like she has an orange crystallized portion to her urate that can occur when they have not defecated on a regular basis. Deworming may resolve that as well. Not a big concern.

Hi @AmandaS thank you for asking yes my girl seems good ( in my limited knowledge and experience) is @khinchy25 post on this thread the only one ?. Yes ther cham passing eggs in its poop is the same as mine but I see their post was in January their husbandry would be interesting to see if there are any common links. Personally like others have said whether there are any links between my 12%,supplements or anything else can neither be counted in or out. In my case I feel that I messed about too much with her enclosure near lay time and did not give her enough peace. Hopefully the op will pop up.

I agree, it would be very interesting. It says @khinchy25 was last online on Friday, so I believe they will be back!
