I have never really seen my chameleon drink before. I use to use a dripper, but it kept breaking, so I will get a new one once I get the money. For now I am just spraying. I did the shower method. She seemed to love it because she looked relaxed but still didnt drink. I even spray her and drip...
ok. I so far have only fed crickets so I guess I will stay away from earthworms. She hasnt gained much weight, maybe a little. She has never lost weight though, she has stayed about the same and she is pretty active, so that is good. Maybe I could give her more fatty foods like waxworms.
My female jackson cham eats maybe 8-12 large crickets every other day (I gut load them with turnip greens and I give calcium supplement 1 or 2 times a week and a multivitamin with D3 every 2 months). She poops normally and everything. I was just wondering if she eats enough. Also, I will be...
well his urates getting yellow means he is mildly dehydrated. Just put him in the shower with a live plant with cool water. Make the water go on th back of the shower so water bounces back on the cham. Mine loves that. Also, Spray more than just 3 times a day. I spray 5 or more times. As for D3...
I got one for my chameleon, a jacksons. It came in soil with white fertilizer in it. I am going to replant it in organic soil. Will the leaves still be toxic to the chameleon since it was already soaking up fertilizer? Or if I just replanted the plant in organic soil would everything be ok?
I wouldnt put it inside the cage. It could make it too humid when you are not there and could cause a repiratory problems. Also, some humidifiers emit hot water (steam). If your chameleon touches that it could get severe burns. I would just keep it in your room and let the whole room get humid...
I am moving my chameleon into a screen cage. I have lots of artificial plants that just use suction cups. I also am getting one live pothos, but that obviously won't take up the whole cage. So how do I hang fake plants to a screen cage? It is a Zoo med reptibreeze, if that helps....
Will a screen cage make my chameleon happier? It will also be bigger IF I get it (18x18x36). She has seems a little stressed lately, like dark clored. She still eats. I just dont wanna spend 100 bucks on a screen cage and have her still be stressed and dark colored, especially because I am low...
This is my chameleon. Does she look ok? I hope to be getting my new screen 18x18x36 next week. She is a little over a year old.
Just copy and paste this...
I have an adult Jackson chameleon, a female. Should I get a screen cage for her or keep her in the glass cage she has now? The screen cage is an 18x18x36. If I buy her a screen one, I will blow all of my money. I will have no more except for crickets and stuff, and I don't like the feeling of...
I currently have my jackson chameleon in an 18x18x24 glass enclosure with a screen top. Temps are a little high, but my humidity stays good. I can get an 18x18x36 screen cage, that is all I can afford. I do not have a humidifier. So should I keep my own tank, or get the new screen one? If i get...
Currently I have my adult female jackson chameleon in an 18x18x24 tank. I need to change that quick. I found a cheap deal on amazon for an 18x18x36 screen enclosure. Will this be ok? Also, if it is screen, will just spraying the tank down with a spray bottle keep the humidity up?
I have an adult female jackson cham. I feed her crickets, but can I feed her superworms too? Also, I have reptivite multivitamin and calstron calcium. Could I give her 1 calcium supplement a week, alternating between the 2?
