I don't use a feeder cup, so I don't have any advice for you along those lines. However, I wanted suggest you consider hand feeding... At least on a temporary basis, so you know exactly what's being eaten (or not eaten). You can even use tongs if you're not comfortable touching the feeders.

How long do they take to start flying once they've hatched? My first few just emerged this morning, but none of them are flying... Just lots of repetitive walking short distances followed by standing still for long periods of time.

Ahh... Yes, I neglected to mention the firey moat I put at the bottom. :ROFLMAO: On a slightly more serious note, I certainly don't think it's impossible for a Chameleon to climb down from the canopy. However, the lack of cover (i.e. leaves) and secure footholds (i.e. branches) on the bottom...

I haven't finished pruning yet, but decided to let my Chameleon take his new part-time free range for a 'test drive' today... I think he likes it! (y) If you look closely, you'll see a tiny bit of shedding skin stuck to his bottom jaw. I've said it before, but it warrants being said again...

By the way, when I say "part-time free range setup" I mean a place for my Chameleon to hangout while I clean his cage, etc. ;)
