    DIY rain attachment

I know this thread is fairly old, but I found it when I was looking for an alternative to the AquaZamp raindome and thought it was extremely useful. I wanted to post some thoughts I had while making my own DIY rain attachment in case others find it useful as well! First, I used black tubing...

Introducing my new male Ambilobe panther

My new male Ambilobe panther arrived last week from Canvas Chameleons; his sire is the one and only Bolt! I haven't thought of a name for this little guy yet but he's settling in really well and I wanted to introduce him to the forum :D. He's about 4 months old and I can see some hints of...

    Hand feeding

Thanks! I tried hand feeding a dubia today and no bites. Also seems to work fine with crickets; I've just been gently grabbing them by their abdomen between two fingers and I've found that they can still wiggle just enough to get my little guy's attention that way.

    Hand feeding

This is probably a silly question, but do you literally hand feed- as in hold the wiggly little bug in your hand and offer it, or do you use tongs? I'm just wondering if superworms/roaches/crickets etc bite!

    Gut load Question

Thanks Nick! I did read some of SandraChameleon's blogs on gut loading and have them book marked :). I plan on using her information in order to create my own wet and dry gut loads, plus I have some Repashy Bug Burger and Superload as well as DinoFuel Raptor Edition. I just thought these two...

    Gut load Question

That sounds great, thank you! I just google the cinnamon myself and it looks like it's an ingredient in Repashy's Bug Burger. I couldn't find much on the cayenne pepper myself.

    Gut load Question

I have some dry mix that's used to make bread for parrots that I'm wondering if I could use as part of a gut load regime for crickets, dubias etc. The ingredients are (all organic too): Spelt flour, kamut flake, pumpkin, poppy & sunflower seed, carrot powder, currants, almonds, coconut flake...

    Aquazamp Contact?

I was excited about the rain dome too, but since I got the Mist King instead I'm going to make a DIY rain ring - https://www.chameleonforums.com/diy-rain-attachment-128607/

    Aquazamp Contact?

I did exactly the same thing, got my Mist King from LLL a few days ago.

    Aquazamp Contact?

I placed an order with them back in June and after a few weeks of hearing nothing and then reading here that it seemed to be more than just a little delay I disputed the order through PayPal. Did you pay for your order with PayPal by chance?

    Different Dragon Strand Cages?

I've been eyeing the Atrium cages too, but I've been wondering about the size. I think it's great that it gives you more width to work with and for the chams to enjoy, but it's only 4.5" wider though you lose 6" in depth. Assuming your cham doesn't use the bottom foot of the cage, I think...

    Hello!

Hi everyone - I've been lurking on here for a few months and finally wanted to introduce myself. I had a veiled chameleon many years ago and now after a long hiatus am looking to get a panther :). I've read the various care sheets on this site and many others and have started to pick up some...
