I built my setup off of this website. He has been doing fine until the fall a couple days ago. Ever since the fall it seems he is slowly dying. One eye opened, one closed. He still moves all over the cage.
I am keeping an eye on him, but its not looking good. He opens one eye but not the other at all. Everytime I think he has died, I find him an hour later in a different spot. Im not sure what is going on with him? I wouldnt think that little of a fall would have done much to him.
He fell about a foot and wont open his eyes. He is just walking around blindly grabbing at stuff. I dont know if he just stunned the hell out of himself or is hurt?
I bought my lil guy at the end of January. He has gotten bigger for sure, but seems really small compared to my buddys who is only a month older. His is easily 3 times the size of mine. Mine is 2.5-3" from snout to end, not tail.
thanks for all the help. took him to the vet and he is healthy. he has a minor eye infection that i have t use drops and flush with saline for a few days. after the vet flushed it, it looked 100 times better.
just his eye is cloudy. it also now seems he sleeps with that eye about half open so im guessing he cant close it all the way now. any ideas on what it is? or how to treat it?
Gotcha. I will go out and get them tomorrow. Any ideas on what his eye problem could be? I just want him to be okay again. he thinks he is fine and continues to do his normal routine everyday. imperfections just bug and worry me.
Are these supplements the multivitamin you were talking about?

I have been keeping an eye on it for 2 days now. He closes it at night when he sleeps. and looks around with it just fine. I run my finger along...
40 watt daytime bulb for basking. just checked and I was wrong. temp is 80-83 sorry. i was using the red heat bulb at night because the temps were about 68-70 in whole cage. is that okay? what kind of multivitamin do you use? and how do you feed it to him? Dust? and i use a calcium based cricket...
Is this white film directly over the eye? yes. sometimes it looks normal and black. most others it looks white.
Or on the outside skin around the center? its hard to tell since he is always moving it but i will get him out and double check.
Is your chameleon also shedding his body? Or is just...
My baby veiled which Ive had for a little over a month has a film over his eye. I am not sure it is shedding skin because it looks like there is something in it. Any thing I can try to flush his eye out and see if that works? He is healthy besides that and eats fine. New to this site, thanks for...
