Hi,
I've had my female veiled for about 3 months now and the past few days she is showing extremely bright colors with a tint of blue. I've heard this means she is sexually mature, but does this mean she could lay infertile eggs now or does she still have some time? I have a Reptibreeze small...
Just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you on here. Since I got my first veiled chameleon I've used these forums to help me figure out the proper enclosure, feeding, and everything in between! I recently took her to the vet and she had a few parasites, but with antibiotics she is now...
So the house is around 77 when I'm not home and then lowest at night is like 72. At the highest basking point closest to the bulb the max it's been is 85. I still have the 60 Watt I originally got, so I can switch it out and see if that helps. In regards to the vet visit she told me the exact...
Could that make her have a pale yellow color? She's all curled up right now ready to sleep will her head resting on the vine. Should I go ahead and just turn off the lights?

My chameleon has been acting strange lately. She won't attack crickets like she used to and when I would open the cage she would walk out onto my hand and now she just sits there. I just noticed that she keeps rocking side to side and keeps shaking every time she takes a step. She'll lift a leg...
Here's some info to start off with:

* Handling - About once a day, I'll leave the cage open sometimes and she'll walk on my hand or floor for about 10 minutes and then I put her back. The...

So I have a female veiled that might be 6 months, I honestly have no clue the Petsmart said she was a year old but not sure. This morning and now she's shown darker colors than usual and sits kind of puffed up, which she never does even if there are people around. Is this a sign she needs to lay...
Okay perfect! when your girl was ready to lay eggs did she do the typical pacing back and forth on the bottom of the cage? Are there any specific signs your veiled had when you for sure knew she needed to lay eggs?
