Well, I've only had my panther for about a month
but I honestly can't get enough of my little guy! He's my second chameleon I've ever owned and he is just the most awesome and adventurous thing ever! I don't have any experience with veilds, but even though he doesn't have that wicked...
you can do it, all you need to do is wash it in a bleach and water mix, then rinse it then you let it dry, after all that is said and done you need to bake the branches at I think 250F, I'm not exactly sure but I think its 250.
to keep the feeder cup from getting full of water, cut out the bottom leaving about a 1/2 inch or so of the plastic. Then hot glue some wire mesh to the plastic left on the bottom, that way water can just drain right out. :D
yes, because they could contaminate each other if you do not sterilize the cage well enough, or they could even catch parasites from one another if one has them. So if you do put them in one anothers cage you must clean the cage correctly
They should be fine as long as you have a visual barrier in between so they cant see each other. They both could become stressed if they constantly see each other. Just a plain piece of cardboard or wood should be sufficient.
Here is him currently 10 days away from 5 months :D
Him at 4 months
And here is his set up, let me know if something seems off but temps are good and I have a mist system and a dripper and hes been eating drinking and going to the bathroom fine so he seems great. He just ate two...
Hello, I searched the forum for this but couldn't find it so here we go. I have been trying to feed my panther a variety of different feeders. But every single store I have gone to does not or is out of silk worms. My question is if anyone knows where I can find some silkies around the central...
well right now I only have meal worms, and I don't really like using them because of the impaction issue but I heard using them as a treat once or twice a week wouldn't hurt
So recently I've been opening up my panthers door to put crickets in for him to hunt and he'll dart to the back of the cage to get away from my hand, he doesn't seem to like me at all which sucks :( and now I can't offer him worms cause they just fall right off the branch and he won't take it...
its highly not recommended, what you can do however is separate the enclosure with a piece of wood or something, as long as the breeding pair can't see each other they should be good
