Ok let me ask you this...so if you purchase 1000 crickets. about how long should that last for a baby panther, and on top of that, do i just put them in their own enclosure and theyll live? I always see them at the petstores with cardboard, what should I really have in a tank that is holding...
Just like the title states, im interested in keeping Jasmine in my chams tank. i saw it was on the list of safe plants, and it somewhat viney, and smells good.
Is anyone else keeping this? Could I see some pictures if so? Thank you.

Im curious as to how many people actually keep the insects they feed their chams in their homes? Do you guys have a second tank somewhere to hold these foods? How are they set up and what do you keep in them?
I would rather do this than continuously driving to a store to by different things...
Thanks Jonas, honestly, Im not to apprehensive about reptiles because everyone always claims what a pain and how hard it is to sustain a thriving reef tank, true it does take a lot of discipline, attention and funds, but its not to bad, at least I didnt think so. Im sure keeping a cham will work...
Seeing that I work in the saltwater aquarium industry, I am curious to see how many of you have built a successful misting system from aquarium pumps...any of you in here done this? Please let me know before I buy a mistking, which will be soon. I have a Sicce psk-2500 return pump which is rated...
Ya Ive done reef tanks for quite awhile, but because of time contraints, and more limited funding due to paying for school and some other stuff right now I want to take a quick break from reefing...well at least reefing in my home...we have a tank at the office, and I also service a friends tank...
Well I decided to just build my own enclosure, I plan on letting the cham free range a lot so this enclosure wont be to big, mostly because it will be baby when I purchase it. Anyways, i went down to homedepot and picked up something a little small than a 2x2. Im staining and sealing the wood...

Hey, ya that was me. Well I was probably one of the people you met this weekend. I was the guy with the sleeve, and working over in the aquarium building. The starter kits look pretty rad, I think I want to build most of my stuff though. I mean, while its a baby Ill want to just pick up a...
Well, this surely is...helpfull? haha thanks for the opinions guys. If i go with a mist system I will be using a MistKing, if I make one myself, now I know an efficient way of doing so.
Ill be building my enclosure next week. Im going to use 2x2's and some vynal mesh, any recommendations on...
Ive seen a few out there, Im curious as to which is the best or if theyre all basically the same. I looked at the Mist King, Herp Mist and one other I cant remember the name of. Any thoughts?

this may be a dumb questions, but can you explain what you mean by you made it out of galvanized steel? your talking about the frame of the enclosure right?
im new to reptiles and about to attempt to build my own enclosure here before i go out and buy the animal

ok then, well as cool as the fog looks, ill just stick with a mister and have it set to go off a few times through out the day, i really wanted to start with a large enclosure but by the sounds of it, seems i should be getting a small one since the cham will be a baby.

someone at apex today told me that foggers burn out or break a lot...any truth to that? ill for sure be hooking up an automatic mister to turn on saaaay 4 times a day? maybe five for shorter periods, whats a good amount? but i would also like the fogger in another location on the tank if they...
