Hi all,
Sadly i need to sell my chameleon, muldoon, because i don't have the time to take care of him being a college student and working full-time. I love him to death and that's why i need to give him to someone who can take care of him. He is about one year old and has a few of his nails...
My Cham fell about 5 ft onto hardwood floors. He got right back up and started walking/running away to explore. Chams are very strong when it comes to falls...
What type of topical antibiotic would you suggest to combat infection? This really sux! Is there anything else i can do to prevent this from happening besides the wire around the cage?
Thanks for the quick responses guys, i was totally discouraged when i saw this and though i really messed up.
I remember hearing people talking about spray bottles that are somewhat automatic here on the forum. I have a "pump action" one that hasn't been working for me at all. Can you give me the name of that type of spray bottle and where i can get it please? Thank you so much!
Hi all,
My chameleon, Muldoon, lost a nail on his back left hand/paw. I don't know why this happened, possibly a calcium deficiency. I haven't been dusting as much as I should be. Look at the included picture and tell me what you think.
I like the idea of stone, seems really easy to clean up but i don't think i'll get the type of look i want. I want something more natural, but maybe i can find the right type of stone. Any other suggestions? Moss seems like it might be a bit too much trouble. But thanks for that suggestions...
I want to make my cage look at real as possible and i know substrate is bad. For most cages is wood the best floor to use? What i could use, in combination, with wood, as an alternative to substrate to make the floor look "realistic"? Thanks
Hi all,
This topic came up the other night when i was talking to my friend because i didn't have crickets for a day. I'm curious, how long can a chameleon last without crickets or other live feed? My chameleon tends to eat plants, will that tie him over for a long time? Just want to get...
Hi all,
I ordered 1000 crickets from LLLreptile and got them about a week ago. I got a rubbermaid and threw them in there fed them a bunch of lettuce and carrots and everything was great. I have been taking out 12 or so a day and today when i went out there to get some i couldn't find...
If you ever need another male to breed i've got one that's about 8 months old now. He's developing beautiful colors and i'd be glad to whore my male out ;)
I think the Oorana Mena has gorgeous colors. I also like how there is coloration differentiation right by the eye and that the eye is bright with red dots in it. At least that Oorana gets my vote!
Well, from what everyone is telling me i think i'm just going to have a collection reservoir at the bottom. The thing is that i have to refill the dripper one every couple days. Wish it lasted longer...
