I Blend all my fruits and veggies together in the food processor and then place it in ice cube trays. This works great and to use the cubes I place them on a small dish and let them thaw out then feed it to my crickets.
BTW I only use this when I absolutely don't have time to chop up fresh...
Thanks everyone. Just to let you know how Soc is doing since I rescued him
He is approximately 4 inches snout to vent and has gained a lot of weight since I am not to sure on his exact weight and I'll have to purchase a scale and let you guys know then. The end of his tail where he has lost...
Haha no1 likes taking meds. glad to hear he's doing well! I am Very interested to see what you end up doing with his free range and send me pictures of the process as soon as you start. =)
Hey everyone I am currently starting a project to breed my own crickets.
I was wondering what people usually use as a substrate for the females to place their eggs in, as well as any other techniques used by cham keepers that are breeding and raising their own crickets.
Thanks lots guys!:)
Yup he usually sleeps on the right hand side of his enclosure and since a tied a few more vines to it I guess it gave him better access to it. He looks like hes pretty happy though.:)
How is Steve doing?
Thank you!!! He did exploring on the screen where he did some upside down climbing and also hung out on his ladder, but now hes curled up and sleeping in his bamboo hut.
I still have a lot more work ahead of me and am going to start expanding to the left side of the wall by next weekend. I...
Thank you so much for the help and advice!!!
He is doing great and growing much larger and putting on some weight since I first got him. He is very well hydrated with an automatic sprayer, humidifier, and the occasional hand spray from a spray bottle where he'll drink directly from the bottle...
Looks like I originally put this thread in the wrong place. Oops.

Enjoy! Thanks for looking.
Is it a bulging and retracting kind of movement. If so he could just be cleaning his eye.
It's hard to tell what it is without actually seeing it.
Wait for the more experienced keepers to chime in. I'm sure they will be able to verify for sure.
I'd estimate I've spent close to $700 including EVERYTHING even feeders and the cham. Most of the things in his setup I picked up on sale or had laying dormant around the house and Frankenstein'd it all together.
If you want to save money and still have a very visually pleasing set up and a...
Thanks! I've done that for my other pictures but have ran out of space for attachments on the forum and don't want to delete attachments from my ongoing posts to make space. is there any way I can upload from instagram or photobucket by using the insert image button on the tool bar?
Sorry Guys. looks like the pictures don't wan to go through. Wondering if I'm doing anything wrong. can anyway explain how they attach theirs?
Thanks Lots!
Awesome no worries then. Just wanted to make sure you had the whole place cham proofed :). And exposure to cable (which they love to climb on), exposed electrical outlets and surge protectors they can risk being electrocuted. But it seems as though you've got your freerange pretty well set up...
I only wish I had this much space for my cham. Awesome set up. Truly great but do you have anything to keep them from touching the heat lamp, uv bulb, any electrical outlets, ect. After hearing about a chameleon here on the forums who licked his u heat lamp I made sure to chameleon proof my free...

This is what I ended up with. he has his own designated wall and sterilite containers to catch all the water an poop. Super easy to clean.
Sorry about the pictures. I Am currently using the camera on my phone to take them and not the best quality. Hopefully these are better.
There is no way for him to climb up the heat light he can climb on the screen but not into where the lights are encloses. I even left a 3 inch gap between...
