Eye Problem??

My baby veiled does this weird thing where his eye like, twitches. It's only for a second, and I'm worried he might have an infection or something.

Is it a bulging and retracting kind of movement. If so he could just be cleaning his eye.

It's hard to tell what it is without actually seeing it.

Wait for the more experienced keepers to chime in. I'm sure they will be able to verify for sure.

As was stated above, if its just for a few seconds, and its not often, then he is more than likely cleaning the eye it.

Thank you and I've noticed sometimes when he's just sitting on a branch one of his eyes is closed, but he never walks around with them closed. Is this also something I should be worried about?

Hello, and yes. If he is closing his eye during the day then it is something to worry about. Can you please fill out the questionnaire and post with you answers in the health clinic. Need pics if possible also of him, his eye and enclosure would be great.
