He is home :) I think he is happy to be home too... ate a silk worm and drank lots of water. Well Diego is home from his overnight stay at the vets, he isnt out of the clear yet. The vet would like to see him Friday morning to remove a stitch or two.. he has a total a 4 stitches-warm soaks...

Update *** We seen the vet this afternoon and things look not so good, he is on a mini vacation (under vet care) Dr did the soaking of sugar solution, he just called and managed to push it back in with a few stitches.. he will be under observation for the next 24 hours, the end is quite dry...

the earliest apt with the vet I could get is at 1:30pm (Central) Diego seems to be acting his normal self this morning, warming up and drinking from his dripper. The only problem is the prolapse :( We have been trying to keep it moist with the jelly and water, but it is looking pretty dried out...

There has been an improvement in his coloring, more hydrated now :) Went out to the drug store to purchase some jelly and put some on, I can only hope the vet can see him first thing tomorrow! I really appreciate all your help and I will keep you posted as soon as we have news. Thanks again!

Thanks soo much, the problem may be that it has been out for sometime and seemed to be dryed up I will try and get an apt asap !!! Anything else I can do in the meantime ?

I just returned from the cottage and my cham panther has this sticking out, we have soaked him in some water to moisten it up to see if it will fall off and no such luck, he seems to be dehydrated as well, he is familiar with our squirt bottle, so he has been drinking from that (a ton of water)...

He doesn't even like misting, he would rather be hand fed water... here is my thought maybe use a hamster water feeder with the ball thingy... get him use to that and then place it in his cage... He is a strange one ! Thanks for your thoughts!
