I would say so. Maybe more time in the sun as well and less food. Your husbandry and everything sounds great to me though. Maybe it's just the chameleon
I've seen gular edema effect many chameleons, and therefore you shouldnt take it lightly. It causes a lot of problems and leads to a lot more. And if there is no cure, there is really no way to tell if it is ever going to go away
Well from the new picture you posted he looks a lot better. I would still say he has it seems mild. In any case I wouldnt be sell him unless he is 100%
You guys should give the guy a break. What if he wants to try a new thing. What if the results turn out a lot different than expected. I don't see the harm in this and i know that if you produced some of those than i would be one of the people to buy or get a couple from you. Mules were hybrids...
I agree with you that there are a few differences in the females such as the barring, hints of color on the cheeks, and the shape of the casque and head but there is really no way to tell because panther chameleon females from different locales can share many of the same traits. The only suttle...
There are no visible differences between a faly female and a falybanja female. Females in general have almost no visible differences. The only way to tell whether or not one is a certain locale is whether you are the one to handpick and import it yourself from Madagascar.
Couldnt agree anymore!!!! Except Ace paid 275 so he would be getting a $125 difference. That is the smartest thing to do...it saves both sides extra money and time.. plus your guy is stunning and you are attached to him...
He is soo beautiful! You should ask some big greeders and ryan josarek or tiki tiki....they are very good at spotting nosy be crosses. I have bred a ton of nosy bes to ambanjas and to ambilobes and a ton of the majority came out looking like your guy....
I am aware that nosy be's arent always...
WOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your guys are soo vibrant.......They are stunning.....I would have to say that Zulu might be one of my favorite chameleons of all time
P.S- The Nosy Be you have is in my strictly professional opinion not a pure nosy. He is a cross between a Nosy Be and possibly an...
Your guy looks very beautiful but are you sure he is 220 grams? He looks to be maybe 150-180. He is very large never the less and looks great! Looks like you are doing a really good job with him!
Can we see some pics of your giant? Imagine what a beauty a large Nosy Be must Be. Mine grew up...
Wow he is stunning, not to be rude or anything but that is definetely a fired up/ excited picture of him. A panther chameleons eyes only turn white like that with stripes when a chameleon is firing up to a female or another male. You can also see that he has stripes under his chin. Nevertheless...
Judging from the pics of your female u posted up a while before I would have to say your feeders have a heavy parasite load! You should get him to a vet ASAP and either buy some reptaid, or other anti-parasitics and treat all your animals. I would say you should disinfect any cages, plants...
