I would get the metal custom made. I would put the funnel at the bottom of the cylinder. Yes, I would have to pick up the poo. Over the years the bottom of my cages have gotten nasty because there's no way for the water to drain.

I would recommend buying reverse osmosis water from your local grocery store to be sure your chameleon is getting the water he needs.

Well, my chameleon Rango seems like he has multiple personalities. I was feeding him today and he tried to get out of his cage which I couldn't understand because his cage is the biggest you can get. Then, after he ate I tried to handle him and he hissed at me. He's an odd little guy.

I would suggest feeding some worms. You can get super worms or wax worms at a local pet store.

First, you should try by introducing food by hand. That lets them know that you aren't to harm them. :)
