Minor tongue issue.

it took a good 2 months for my guy to show improvements.
Since he can't shoot his tongue without missing, how does he get water? Every time I spray his cage he gets excited and tries to get it but it is hard for him to. He can get some just not a lot. :(

My guys lick the water up, not shoot at it.
Just mist heavily and often.
He was roaming the cage and he was right next to the dripper so I turned it on and he put his head under it and drank some!

Do you handle your chameleons? Mine is super shy and I have tried so many times and he flares at me. I wish he would be more calm and let me handle him. Is there any way I can ease him up?

1 yes, 1 no, and 2 are case by case.

To get them to tolerate you, try offering them bugs by hand.

This lets them associate you with food.

Update on rango. He still has the tongue issue, but he is actually trying to shoot now. He is hydrated and well fed. I would take him to the vet for a check up but he absolutely refuses for me to handle him. It's weird because I can hand feed him just fine.

Tell me what you guys think.
