If your chameleon is sleeping during the day then there is something wrong. I would take him to the vet ASAP if I were you.

I am actually going to build one like this. I was thinking that I could use the uvb and heat all in one bulbs and put a huge dome on top of the cylinder. What do you think?

I was reading the new Reptiles magazine Ultimate Chameleom Guide and it told me to put plastic fencing inside the cage over the screening so that they don't injure their nails. Is this a "must do"?
