top of head sore or burn

I thought this was a piece of shed thats been on top of my panthers head it has been there for 4 wks. I peeled it off today he did not mind at all it looks a little pink in the middle and black on the outside.can you tell me what this might be? Should that part of his head end in a point ? It looks rounded now . All help will be appreciated

Could be a burn from light, or a infection (bacterial/fungul) cause from water get in between old skin and the new.

Its been 3 wks that i have been putting bacterial ointment on my 1 yr old panther. Dos not look any better he is alert and eating but today he has stayed in his sleeping spot all day. Do chams do that or is this a sign of something wrong?

If your chameleon is sleeping during the day then there is something wrong. I would take him to the vet ASAP if I were you.

If after three weeks you see no improvement, then I think your only choice is to seek a vet
