7am - I turn on Arcadia and plant grow
9am - I turn all lights on including basking light
7pm - I turn off Arcadia, 1 of 6.5k light, and basking light.
8pm - I turn off the other 6.5k light and turn on the LED blue light that the quad has built in.

I've been having that too but only my Fischer and juvi veiled but I think that's because their cages are across a window and sun comes up at 530-6am.. So they are always awake before i turn their lights on.
If I turn lights on even when they already awake, does it count as hour towards light...
I have a laying bin in her enclosure at all times available but have not seen her around bottom of enclosure yet and laying bin is not disturbed so I know she haven't been down there. Only had her for 3 weeks.

Sometime it can mean a lot of things but from my limited experience, dark colour means he trying absorb more heat or chameleons tend to turn dark/black when stress.
Here an example of stress when I handled my female veiled I first got her.

I placed superworms with heat lamp in my cricket 10gallon in a small container and left them inside for about 2-3 weeks and Beatles hatched.
Currently breeding Beatles and crickets, haven't tried worms yet.
I've seen people hav a big garbage bin placed just outside of enclosure and vines going from cage to bin with a plant in the bin and lots of foliage or cover the bin when she goes in.
16x16x24 will work for babies till 4-5 months.
From little experience I have, I would go for panther or veiled for a little easier care requirements. They both require almost the same care.
If I could find a local panther breeder, I would get one in a heartbeat. They have wonderful amazing...
