nosy be egg laying help

So my 16 month nosy be was bred to one of my males exactly 24days ago. I have bred a few of my females before and always have the laying bin in the enclosure as well as a big potted plant. This has worked well. I planned to use this same method. However this particular female is larger than average and i wanted a slightly larger laying bin for her. She lives in a large reptibreeze cage and I found a bin that I thought would be perfect. After preparing it with play sand I fit it in but could not quite close the cage door. It was barely too big and I realized I needed to replace it.
Just an hour later before I had the chance to do so yet, I came in and saw the gravid female on the bottom of her cage pawing around. I know chams do this occasionally but have never seen this one on her floor ever so I said its too late she's ready. I placed the laying bin I prepared in a large tall bin, placed a screen over it, with light on top and a vine inside for her. I took her out and placed her in there. And put her in a private place. This is the 4th day she has been in there and has not began the process. It is possible she was not ready yet and had just fallen I guess.... At this point I can arrange the cage with a bin and get her back in there today bit dont know if i should. Is it best to leave her be, and how long has it taken others and is ok to leave in an external laying bin. I dont want to have to check on her and bother her twice daily in there either. But certainly dont want to move her and cause the type of stress for her to become eggbound. Would love some advice, comments, ideas on my current situation. Thanks

Normally after mating it's about 30 days before they lay. She may not be ready. I would put her back in her enclosure with the regular lay bin and feed and water her.

Ok. Thanks. I agree I wasn't thinking she would be ready to lay yet. However she had stopped eating for about a week. I have water for her in there but would rather have her back in her enclosure. She is also not looking as plump as she was so idk she may be getting dehydrated in there. Otherwise I'm not sure what that would mean. Also i can't leave her in the place she's in for a week or more. It was a last min thing and I need to have access to that area.

I've seen people hav a big garbage bin placed just outside of enclosure and vines going from cage to bin with a plant in the bin and lots of foliage or cover the bin when she goes in.
