I could care less what you think or say. I had an experience and if asked in a public forum I will state it. I suggest that you add me to your ignore list if you find what I say annoying or ignore me. I don't know you, so I can't like or dislike anyone here -even you. That's the...

Weekly post and a lesson leaned.
I'm still fighting humidity in the terrarium. My fan idea works, but not as effective as in my testing. I'm toying with the idea of adding a dehumidifier to my terrarium electronics. Not a large one but one like this for some active...
I've had issues with that method, leaves streaks on glass. I'll give it a shot, but I'm not holding my breath. I was probably doing it wrong..
This perplexes me. I'm not sold, but intrigued. What makes these so special I ask myself. These would be a better value if they are...
Please shoot video horizontal. Vertical video is so annoying to watch, sorry it's a pet peeve I have of the new social media generation....
I've never seen such behavior before. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. (y)
I would not use the ebay product as it is designed as a waterfall for a table and as such will need to be at the bottom of the enclosure where it is more likely to get contaminated by crap that falls from above.
The Bio Bubble product is interesting and I posted about it previously, but decided...
That sir is a very good question. I will admit I never thought of it, and saying that my Cham has never licked the glass is not good enough. I made an assumption that when it evaporated and was streak free and I felt no residue, smelled nothing and the glass felt smooth but not slick...
I don't think the connectors will let you put them together that way. If I recall they are "keyed" that way to prevent people from wiring it up wrong.
Because you have a display, your power supply is probably good.
Do you have access to a multi meter (DMM)? Simply set it for DC voltage and...
Love this post. :D My Cham pretty much ignores my dogs as well, but I do not trust my dogs (well one in particular) what so ever. She's a sneeky one. :cautious:
To the OP, joshuadh's advise above is good. All I will add is if you want the same fixtures, search for Odyssea. Same fixtures (less the bulbs) for fraction of the price. Literally. Just a name change on the outside and different bulbs.
You need to be sure to read carefully all the responses you get. You may get answers all over the place on this. There is no one right way to do what your asking. What works for one keeper may not work for you due to enclosure type, foliage, temp and humidity at the location, type of heat lamp...
Daily cleaning is pretty simple. I wipe any moisture from the bottom with a few paper towels. The glass doors I clean with Windex product but am sure to it dry completely before closing them. I use distilled water for misting, so I have little to no water spots.
My current setup is...
Perhaps a less abrasive approach to explaining your thoughts would go farther. No offence, I'm sure your intentions are gold, but you come across smug and condescending. Questioning someones comments rather than challenging them and putting them down can really help keep threads on track rather...
As my Cham grows, I want to be sure his terrarium décor does as well. One of the things I did day one when I realized how small he actually was to add "age appropriate braches" for his little feet to grip.
Compared to how big a Chams feet are, or how far around he can grab a branch, what would...
Are you sure it's the mesh material? What type of light, UVB or basking bulb are you using? Plants can be tough without the right lighting. I had to switch to full spectrum LED lighting as well as red LEDs for plant growth.
Well, there is a chameleon on the box.....what could go wrong? ;) Agree with the above folks. But looks like this is just a basking bulb. Don't forget UVB. Also, look at your setup and see if a plain run of the mill incandescent bulb will not suffice, and can be cheaper!
$75 doesn't sound too bad. Did you budget for a larger cage when you decided to to get a cham? Or are you like me and just cheap wanting to find the best deal? ;) I can afford just about anything I want, but I have the money because I usually choose to be frugal.
I learned early...
