Force feeding veiled - need help

I've been able to get his mouth open with my wife's help, I've had to resort to pulling on the skin under his chin to get his mouth open but it seems to work and not hurt him

The oxbow is just to keep him nourished while he's not eating, they have him panacur and he'll get another dose in 10 days

Force feeding veiled - need help

No substrate, just the plastic panels on the bottom that I can pull out and clean. So for those that are curious, I took Slide to the vet this morning and she said chances are he has some type of parasite. She gave him some medication and gave me some oxbow liquid food mix. Of course he got...

    Pregnant veiled?!?!?

She had climbed into the bucket and I think I may have interrupted her (don't hate me it was my first time ) and I left immediately, when I snuck a peek back in the room she had climbed back out of the bucket so I just prepped a trash can and put her in that, plus I could sneak up on her and...

I don't need necessarily think he needs high vitamins, just that glucerna has a lot of nutrients and is a liquid so I can syringe feed with it

    Minimum chameleon weight for breeding

I'd say there's no such thing, for me I just put them together and my female didn't get pissy so I left em together for a few hours and voila! But she laid eggs and is absolutely not a fan of him at this point now lol

    Pregnant veiled?!?!?

Honestly just from what I've learned in the past few months, my female had eggs for over a month before she ever started digging. By the time she was ready to lay you could clearly see ths eggs protruding around the hind end. I worried and worried about her thinking she wouldn't lay and become...

Force feeding veiled - need help

Well I don't have any references, I live in college station so I plan on taking him to the tamu small animal clinic and see what they say. It's an agricultural college so I assume they should have some knowledge...still though, I feel like most vets are like mechanics, they'll find a way to get...

Force feeding veiled - need help

Yeah I guess you're right, I just hate to take him to a vet and have the vet just guess. I've looked at all the possible reasons he would stop eating and I'm doing everything right so to me it seems like he has to just be on a hunger strike. But I'll take him to the vet Monday, hopefully...

Force feeding veiled - need help

No, he hasn't had symptoms that I feel are critical enough for a vet visit yet. He has lost weight and isn't eating crickets, superworms or hornworms. I feel like this may be a hunger strike and I don't want him to become malnourished

Force feeding veiled - need help

Does anyone have experience force feeding with a feeding syringe? I've tried force feeding worms but when I finally get his mouth open he spits out the worm. Im trying to use glucerna due to the high Vitamin content but I can't reliably get his mouth open and I don't want to hurt him.
