Yeah the reason for possibly switching it to two cages was because of drainage. I’d have more cabinet room underneath. I’m thinking that’ll be the route I go!
so I’ve been looking to custom ideas for a cage but without spending a lot to do a plastic/acrylic enclosure I’ve had nothing. So I came with the idea of creating a hood and cabinet for a 24x24x48 zoo med. I’ve done a quick sketch and wanted to get opinions. I might double the whole thing so it...
Well my basement is pretty dry and since they are in screen cages that’s why I went with the multiple short times over long times. But I agree with the drinking idea. Maybe I’ll switch my morning and evening one to be a bit longer
hey guys, got my mistking all set up and running. My lights run 8 to 8. So I know three five minute sessions is the reccomended for panthers...what’s the thoughts on 2 minutes every 2 hours starting at 9 am?

I woke her up so she’s ticked off but you can actually see her mouth here. I don’t see anything crazy, I just think I need to gutload the crap out of crickets and let her eat as much as she likes until she starts getting some good weight on her then maybe try different strategies for food
I figured the 2 or 5 minutes could be substituted with more abundant smaller misting sessions but doesn’t matter. I got the one 2’x2’x4’ cage so it is on my list to do.
