Is it normal for a chameleon to eat leaves off a ficus plant? I just watched my 4 month old veiled pull off a small leaf and eat it. Will this hurt her? Is she lacking something she needs in her diet?
I have a ficus in 2 of my enclosures and they are doing well. They seem to be growing and triving on a 75watt basking bulb and a ReptiSun 5.0 UVB Fluorescent Bulb. At first they lost a few leaves but then have been doing fine. They should keep growing for you as long as you take care of it.
Also to be fair I never vote for myself. I don't worry about winning. I just like to submit photos so everyone can see my cutie. I also love seeing everyones pics. They all were so cute.:D
All good idea's, now I just have to figure what will work out best. I would be so much easier if I could see it. I don't have a way to hook it up to a laundry tub and sprinkler. We don't have a laundry tub and the cage is in my sons room. Brad not to sound stupid, but where do you put the plasic...
I have a 4 month old veiled chameleon that I mist the enclosure twice a day and a dripper going into the ficus plant pot. Which sometimes it gets too much water because of the dripper. What I wold like to know is about a misting system. I keep reading about people talking about it and I was...
Wow that looks like its going to be nice. Can't wait to see more pics when you get it done. Wish I was that handy. The most I have done was make a canapy for a salt water tank. I need more tools.lol :D
I am new to having chams and to this forum. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce my new chameleon. I have 3 bearded dragons and just recently got talked into getting a cham by my son. As soon as she arrived to our home I fell in love. My veiled is 4 months old. We will be getting...

I have used Phoenix Worms for my bearded dragons and they just went wild over them. I was told they should be used only as an occasional snack for the dragons because the fat content. They are a little bit expensive but they loved them. I have not tried them on my chameleon yet. She is just a...
