    does he ever lighten up at all? they turn dark to bask (dark colors attract more heat etc). sounds like you need to make sure you heat read out are accurate. what other lighting/bulbs do you have for him. need more info. your pic does look like a normal basking color.

    ive heard the 12% bulb can hurt their eyes. could be why hes avoiding his basking spot ( which he desperately needs) and like everyone else is saying no mealworms. good luck. hope you post an update saying he feeld better.

    omg. my ambilobe is fron living art with frank payne. he took over for canvas chameleons. his sire is alos Marley!!! we names him flash (kids idea lol). hes 4.5 months old i got him two weeks ago. hes great, very smart!

    i agree i use a small stick and keep it short and sweet. no sudden quick movements. and treats always help. patience is key. it will take time.
