Lets see your Ambilobe!!!!!

He is such a cutie. Have fun naming him. He looks to have bright yellow in him and maybe darker blues and I see Red in him too. He is going to be gorgeous!

I named him Monet!! I have had him for almost 2 weeks! He went through a shed already. I think he is 4.5 months old... would you say?

This is him at rest and he shows greens and blues... which is why I am confused on his coloring.

WOW, well he looks just like my Angus in that pic which is Aqua blue/greens/ with red deep in the bars. But my baby's sire was like that except when he got fired up, he showed bright yellow and reds. Sounds like yours may be this way is what I am thinking. and mine is an Ambanja

Yes, I will show you Angus. I will send you some pics by message of his sire so you can see. Also -- I do think he is exactly the same age as my Angus. Angus will be 5 months old next week. So they are the same age. Exciting to see how they change. My just completed a shed this last week as well.

Congrats on the new baby! I think they ARE ALL SO GREAT! Each one is gorgeous in my eyes.

Monet hung with me today while I did my taxes... He likes the flowers. Oh my word he is the cutest. I work with him every day to build his trust. I have had him for a month. 3 weeks ago he went through a shed and has grown fast since then (still has a piece on his head that never fell off). I am expecting a shed soon, but I already think his colors are stunning for his age. What do you think?

The many shades of this dude's personality.

He is a captive breed from a San Diego breeder the father was a beautiful ambilobe that came from a clutch by reptile nerds breeder Drake (originally hatched at kammerflage I believe). The mother was a beautiful kammerflage kreation named Regina George as she was a "mean girl" I believe the mother was a 50/50 local cross from the info I've dug up / been provided but am not 100% sure.

My guy just got a shed and is starting to show more colors especially his bar. but it's slow going as most things chameleon. I try not to mess with him much and avoid handling unless I'm cleaning the entire enclosure because he really freaks out. That's the only time I really see him "fired up" .

I see posts all the time of peoples 5 month ambilobe and it looks like one of the kammerflage breeders and I'm like wow what are they gut loading with?!?
