Biology would give you the chance to study them in the wild. I'm not sure there are any careers dealing with that field. You could also become a professional reptile breeder too.

If you trying to offer a varied diet, just try gutloading the crickets with different foods like mustard greens, carrots, fruit. It creates a varied diet, without having to change the crickets.
