my cham has always done this and I never understood why. Every time I spray her cage she goes to the bottom of it and walks around the bottom as if looking for something. She looks down at the bottom of the cage almost rubbing her nose on it. Maybe she sees her reflection or something? I don’t...
Hm. Interesting. She also gets a lot of sun and water. Her main diet is hornworms though. I’m getting crickets today and not giving her hornworms for a while to see what happens. She has a pretty fat belly so I’m hoping she’s just gravid and it’ll go away once she lays eggs. Ahhh! So...
My panther cham is 9 months old. I noticed a weight gain, is now a peach/pink color, and a big soft lump in her neck. She is also not eating as much. Still active and drinking water though. I’m going to put a laying bin in her enclosure today. But I’m pretty concerned about that lump. The size...
You can tell by the chameleons urates. It's the white part that comes out with the poop. The more orange it is, the more dehydrated your Cham is. If it's white he's hydrated!
I saw my panther chameleons bottom lip looked a little weird so I decided to take a pic. It's the only one I could take since he hates the camera. Hopefully it's visible. It's below his nostril. I recently bought him bigger crickets and didn't remove the legs like I usually do. Could one of the...

I'm a very proud parent right now because it's her first shed! I feel kinda lame too but it's exciting! Lol. Hopefully we get some color soon. But she barely turned 3 months (guesstimating) so I know we have to be patient. Lol.
I got this panther a little over a month ago. I keep trying to guess it's gender but I can't tell. I'm guessing female? I've posted pictures before but only two people guessed and it was 50/50. Ha! So I'm trying again. Thanks!
Okay thanks! When I was reading about his age I read that he should be eating 10-15 crickets a day and I couldn't imagine him fitting that many in his tiny body lol. I've only seen him eat 2 crickets since I've brought him home though :( hopefully he eats more soon.
Hey everyone. I bought a Panther Chameleon 3 days ago. I was told he was 2 months old. i have been comparing pictures of other chameleons his age and he is tiny compared to them. So I'm wondering if the person that sold him to me was honest. Thanks for your help!
