Lump in neck. (Gravid?)

My panther cham is 9 months old. I noticed a weight gain, is now a peach/pink color, and a big soft lump in her neck. She is also not eating as much. Still active and drinking water though. I’m going to put a laying bin in her enclosure today. But I’m pretty concerned about that lump. The size goes up and down. Does she look gravid? Could that be the cause of the lump?

The lump is likely edema. Some of them get it while gravid but there are a lot of causes such as kidney issues, over supplementation of certain vitamins, etc.

I actually haven’t been dusting too much at all. And majority of her diet have been hornworms. Could that be it?

It seems there is no solid answer for why it happens. I read(as mentioned) females get it when gravid. Otherwise, most say oversupplementation or kidney, but others have said crickets, undersupplementation, etc.

My one guy has it a little and I have barely supplemented anything, gets loads of water, sun, etc. I noticed it happened when I started feeding a lot of crickets. Good chance it's a coincidence, but also possible it isn't.

Hm. Interesting. She also gets a lot of sun and water. Her main diet is hornworms though. I’m getting crickets today and not giving her hornworms for a while to see what happens. She has a pretty fat belly so I’m hoping she’s just gravid and it’ll go away once she lays eggs. Ahhh! So frustrating! Lol.
