getting my first chameleon tomorrow :)

Enclosure looks amazing but someone died below it...just saying... I like the skull there ROFL reminds me of the romancing the stone movie scene in the jungle with the plane crash.

The background almost ruins it but capturing the attack and the great lighting on the chameleon makes up for the artificial background.

Five little chamies jumping on the bed....

Not wanting to handle roachs is one thing that I can't argue with but there are a number of roaches you can get shipped to FL. Just not dubai and a few others. Green Banana Roaches, Surinam Roaches, and you mentioned Discoid are just a few you can get shipped here. Just in case you ever give up...

Any local roach suppliers in Southwest FL

I found a bearded dragon/chameleon breeder in Cape Coral with Discoids. Anyone looking for them in Southwest FL should look up http://www.redroomreptiles.com/discoids-roaches. Hope it's okay to post a non-sponsor link. If not I'm sorry:(

Any local roach suppliers in Southwest FL

I'm still in the research and development stages of acquiring a chameleon but I'm looking to find a source for discoid roaches in the Cape Coral to Naples area of Florida. If any of you know of a local source please chime in! If no one local turns up I'll just order some from Nick B. on the...

Can I just feed my veild Dubai roches???

I agree roaches>crickets if you are going to raise them. I was just saying if he was buying roaches to feed instead of buying crickets to feed the roaches may cost more.

Can I just feed my veild Dubai roches???

I would suggest you start raising as many insect varieties that you can if the cost for keeping your chameleon fed is a major concern. Not to mention you know what your insects have eaten before they are fed to your chameleon. I don't 100% understand your question either. Crickets are expensive...

I want to breed staple feeders for everything from hatchlings to adults

You don't really need to in Florida. The female bsf will lay where there is rotting fruit. Seeding might speed up the process but isn't necessary.

I want to breed staple feeders for everything from hatchlings to adults

If you have time and access to some outdoor space I'd suggest black soldier flys (bsf) too. They take a little time like a month or more to get fully grown flys but they are super easy to get started and they are naturally higher in calcium than most feeders. Only thing is that you will need to...

Baby panther chameleon from a show.

I'm no expert but he looks a bit thin to me. I'd be feeding him until he wasn't interested in roaches/crickets anymore. You could also look into black soldier fly larva I hear they are good for chameleons of any age but especially the young ones.
