hi everyone
I have noticed over the last few days that my kyro (veiled chameleon) has had something sticking out his rear end I thought that yet again he had sperm plugs but am realising now that this is not the case it looks like a prolapse its red!
I have tried bathing him in warm water but...
i have to say i cant even put the crickets in i am at the other side of the room whenmy partner puts them in his cup and sits a lid on top. i then transfere the cup to kyros enclosure and remove lid when its safe lol I am a nightmare i think i tried the worms once got a bit much after a second...
I got my 1 month old over a week ago he had never been handled or let out of his enclosure.
Since I have had him I have tried to keep out his way and let him settle only entering the enclosure for misting ,feeding ,watering plants ect.
Today i set out on my usual daily task and went to feed...
thank you so much for that i did not realize how many choices they were i thought i woulld be extremely restricted as to what could go in but my partner grows a lot of whats already on the list so it has been extremely helpfull:D:D
hey
I am planning a bigger enclosure for Kyro and have everything prepared but I am unsure as to what plants are advisable to add to his enclosure>
I have trolled the internet and lots of suggestion are about but I am not sure I trust all the stories given! Can anyone tell me what is safe for...
hi
So I am sitting here watching kyro and am really amazed how well he is doing especially after my wee freak out yesterday when he started dancing and i thought he could be ill lol
I am a first time chameleon owner and have read as much up on him as I can. But I have to say for an animal...
i dont know much about the whole cancer side of things but i do know you have done a great job taking him on and away from someone who has not put the correct care and attention into him.
Good luck with him he looks good and very settled in his new enclosure
well done!!
thanks everyone...i am enjoying him i love to sit and watch and talk to him the reason i cup feed him is because thats how he has always been fed and i didnt want to stress him out to much by changing that straight away.
i will try another source of food with him but he might feel more like...
ok so its been a few hours since I raised my concerns with yous and yous made me feel easier about the whole dance steps thing but i think i have been working myself up now ....maybe i am looking for a problem that is not there but for the last couple of hours kyro (the chameleon) has not came...
ok i im in scotland we have no sun at the moment lol just snow but yes i am still using the bulb i was given and will continue to use it untill the new one arrives....I cant believe i was unaware of this dance but yes i suppose if i think logically about it he is unsure of his new enviroment so...
ok so now i do feel rather silly it seems he is doing the dance.. although i will be keeping an eye more than usual untill i know the UVB is in place.
so whats with the dance..why do they do this and how long can it last he has been doing it every time he moves for hours?
thank you...
