Thanks for the replies everyone.
If you look at his lips, the white surrounded by red make it look like little skeleton teeth!
Yeah, Dean is great to work with. I would jump at any opportunity to do business with him again.
Bought this guy from Dean back in November. He's housed outdoors year round and I hope to breed him in the near future. Roughly 8-9 months old now. Enjoy!
And my new dart frog, just for fun!
Thanks for the replies everyone. Hopefully, it's just an exploration/comfort thing.
Hey Lele! how are you? Sadly, no, Lola is not here any more. She dies about 2 years ago after a bunch of complications with her sugery. After that I kept and bred a pair of jax for while, then I gave them...
Thanks. Yeah, I was thinking about the light idea. Also, Im hoping that he's just getting familiar with his new surroundings. Ill post a pic of his enclosure in a day or so.
Hi all,
I recently purchased a 4-5 month old amiblobe male from FL Chams. I have had him for about 5 days now. He arrived fine in every way, except he is missing about 2/3 of his tail (which I knew about when I purchased him). He is roughly 6 inches in total length. I have him housed...
Thanks for the input. Yeah that stuffs not cheap, especially in 100 foot rolls! I cant imagine what the shipping would be on that!
Yeah, I've asked and asked in three or four different home depots in my area. Not only do they not carry it now, they also always look at me like Im insane for...
Just wanted to say that if you have the opportunity to grab one of these, do it! Dean 1s really easy to work with and the cham that he sent me is amazing. I couldnt be happier with this transaction and I highly recommend Dean and his chams.
Thanks Dean!
Yeah, that was the size I was thinking about. Again, though, the trouble is finding it with the PVC or vinyl coating. Your guy is looking great btw, Dean!
Hey,
I'm building an outdoor DIY cage out of PVC. However, Im having a terrible time finding PVC coated wire mesh or chicken wire. Of course, I can find plenty of the non-coated stuff, but I feel like that would hurt their feet and such if they happened to be screen climbers. I can also find...
I may be interested. Im in the Keys, Hollywood is like 2 1/2 hours away, maybe less. Where are you located exactly in Hollywood? What species are they? how old? male/female? related/unrelated? Any other information you can give me? Any pics? Feel free to PM if you like. Thanks.
yeah, i am trying to figure out how to combat the ants, too. They are all over here in the FL Keys. A raised enclosure with its legs in oil is said to deter ants, but I cant see how it could be incorporated into the greenhouse design. Any ideas?
Hey,
I'm thinking about building my own enclosure and I came across a few links and info that I thought might be of some use to people:
DIY PVC enclosure. Looks great for iguanas or chameleons:

Any ideas on making the cage more or less self suffcient, especially as far as hunting prey is concerned? I dont know if that could work, but i think it would be real cool. It might prove too difficult to monitor food intake and such, though. I would worry about the prey overwhelming a cham as...
