Yeah i use these all the time, in the summer i let all the youngens out in them, i made about 15 for around 50 bucks, depending on the size. I wouldn't recomend using them for bigger chams though, i would use something bigger.
um im no expert im positive someone can give you an exact answer here, but i believe you may have been feeding two much calcium or vitamin. and the opening and closing of mouth might be because you were invading her space.
This is the exact same situation as im in, my bout 10 month old ambilobe hasnt eaten in bout a day and half, and im not but 15 minutes from darien. I have a feeling it may be because of the temperture change they may be in a little shock, please keep me posted.
Well what i do for my babies cages is get some of the like white and clear plastic droors and drill some holes in them and set cage on top, i empty it out once a day, but it could go about 3 or 4, and i also run my dripper like 14 hours a day (its on a timer) so thats alot of water
hello all, im not new to chameleons, i have 3 ambilobes and they have been lively and well for a long while now. But i am new to pygmies and i understand there are a fair share of differences. I was curious as to if i could house a chameleon happily in a 5 gallon tank id take much care of it...
Is it alright to have the ceiling light on when my cham is asleep, it is fairly dark in his cage. Just wondering if i should maybe get some sort of divider to block light if there on at night.
Is it ok to include a small amount of dog food in the crickets gut load, while still including leafy greens and some fruit. Just curious, because it seems that the crickets eat alot of it, even though they eat almost anything. But would dog food crickets be harmful to my chams health?
thank you for the help, i actually just got finished reading some of frog's material on feeder breeding, and i think im going to go through with it. And do you know by any chance if supers or silkies can be a staple in chameleons diet?
thanks again
Hello everyone hope your all enjoying your summers.
So im sure this has been asked before, but could someone point me in the right direction, give me a link, or just some tips on breeding crickets on a small scale.
Thanks
just a curious health question for chams, im trying to make some stackable enclosures for my adult ambilobes but the only way it would work is if i used 36 high enclosures. Can adult chams live comfortably in this size?
its a small 40 to 70 gph fountain pump, and i used aquarium tubing and a mister nozzle, then all i have to do is keep the pump in a tub of water, i use protein barrels because they can hold like 2 or 3 gallons of water.
