Hello everyone hope your all enjoying your summers.
So im sure this has been asked before, but could someone point me in the right direction, give me a link, or just some tips on breeding crickets on a small scale.
Thanks

Funny you should ask since I am starting my own cricket breeding project today. I got my info from Froggthecham (Franie). What she does is put cottage cheese containers with moistened coco fiber into the cricket tub and put a section of egg crate over it so the females will be able to get in and out easily. My plan is to buy 100 large crickets and have several tubs like that in the bin to see if I can get some cricket eggs. You will need a heat source for them to breed. A lot of people use the under tank heat pads with some aluminum heat tape between the pad and the plastic bin. Hope this helps.

thank you for the help, i actually just got finished reading some of frog's material on feeder breeding, and i think im going to go through with it. And do you know by any chance if supers or silkies can be a staple in chameleons diet?
thanks again

Supers should be given less frequently and silks are great for hydration. If you are feeding a rotation of silks, supers, and crickets, that is a good variety and should keep your cham happy.
