I got a good pic of her/his feet I see a dark spot and a slight bump but didn't know if that could be a spur. Again I am assuming she is a girl thanks to all of your feedback but wanted to make sure. Still hanging on and I have been able to get fluids and some food down her as well as shower...
The spot on his tail was easily removed by her and she thought it might be more from poop dripping on his tail when he was sick and so the polysporin worked to help. After scraping it off I don’t see a spot at all.
I answered it "The spot on his tail was easily removed by her and she thought it might be more from poop dripping on his tail when he was sick and so the polysporin worked to help. After scraping it off I don’t see a spot at all."
Sorry I think I am just saying it confusing. She couldn't find a penis bulge but was saying since he is underdeveloped it is possible that it is very small and not noticeable etc and no clear tarsal spurs but again its very small right now so hard to see. But she thinks it is a girl but just...
Thanks! I have one of those but I will get the other also to switch them out as you are supposed to.
And what do you feed your crickets? Actual fruits and veggies you cut up etc? I'm wondering if the super load or gut load products would be a good option for crickets and then supplement...
She was talking about his penis bulge being underdeveloped not the spurs. He is just so small right now it would be hard to for sure say he or she doesn’t have spurs bc there is a darker spot and possibly a bump on his back feet but not clearly spurs, if that makes sense.
He is very small for...
My vet recommended this product for gut loading crickets
https://www.store.repashy.com/superload-4-oz-bag.html?tt=111
I also saw this one:

I am looking at theses products to feed to my crickets. Anyone have experience with this? I...
Just wanted to update: we got back from the vet and she didn't see anything wrong other than the obvious dehydration and not eating so he is very skinny. Unfortunately he or she is very underdeveloped due to the people who had him before us and so she was unable to definitively say if he was a...
One more question, if she does need to lay eggs would sticking this plant in her cage help or hurt? I know it’s not the ideal but just trying to do what I can immediately. Her belly looks puffy so is that normal with dehydration? Again just trying to get her thru the night. Thanks for your...
Thanks for the advice from everyone. Totally not being defensive if that’s how I came off my apologies. I’m showering her now and seems ok with that. We got him/her from a family who didn’t take the best care and so I have been trying to research since we got him/her six months ago and slowly...
We added a limb when we got him back two weeks ago and I have been researching live plant options but Was waiting until we see what happens. Thanks for the feedback on that. Also if you can suggest a product or products that I can buy for gutloading i would appreciate. I need somewhat simple...
Thanks for the suggestions. I’m not offended bc i am doing my best and only had him for six months and didn’t want to change too much too fast since he has been happy for two years the other way. The fact that he has a dripper and humidifier I think should give adequate misting with me misting...
I was looking at that as an option but everything I see says it has to be a trash bucket size. How does that go in her cage? Love to see pics of a similar size cage and egg laying bins. I tried the pipette without much success but I’ll try again in a bit so I don’t stress him or her out too...
Update: I can take him to a vet tomorrow but everywhere is closed today. I am helping him drink with my finger on his mouth with water on it. He took water this way. I tried putting him on the dish with a worm and he tried to eat but his tongue won’t stick I’m guessing bc of the dehydration. I...
This is his actual gauge readings in the mornings. The one that is in the enclosure picture doesn’t work we just never pulled it out from his previous owner bc it is attached to the top of the fake vine.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon -
veiled chameleon, I was told it was a boy but I have been researching and now I'm not sure. We have had him for 6 months and before that he belonged to a family for 3 years. We had to be gone for a month so we had a friend watch him at their house for us...
Our chameleon was being watched by some friends while we are gone for a month. He is at least 3 years old (we got him from someone else). He used to eat 2-3 crickets a day (they are fed the orange cubes from fluckers and dusted with the calcium and d3 powder) and would hunt them immediately but...
