My vet recommended this product for gut loading crickets

I also saw this one:

I am looking at theses products to feed to my crickets. Anyone have experience with this? I am guessing you would still dust with a calcium supplement? Multi vitamin too?

Thanks
I’ve heard so many stories about people’s chams getting hooked on horn worms I would only use 2 or 3 if he eats them and then try to go back to crickets. These are the calcium’s I use fir my reptiles

Thanks! I have one of those but I will get the other also to switch them out as you are supposed to.
And what do you feed your crickets? Actual fruits and veggies you cut up etc? I'm wondering if the super load or gut load products would be a good option for crickets and then supplement with veggies and fruits when I can.

Gutloading will increase the nutritional value of your insects but you'll still need to use supplementation to ensure they receive enough vitamins and minerals. I would trust Repashy products more than say Flukers. Mark Finke did test on several commercial gutloads and found that only one that he tested met what was stated on the label (Repashy products were not part of that study). Most insects (roaches, superworms, mealworms, crickets) can also be raised on a better feed like non-medicated chick feed which will boost their nutritional value over say bran so that they will always be somewhat gutloaded.
